Chapter 3: Installation

STEP 3C: Set the system date and time.

Correct date and time settings are important for proper operation of the Hybrid PBX and VoIP Gateway. For example, it ensures
that
voicemail and call data records are time-stamped correctly.

Define configuration settings as described below. When done, click “Apply,” and then click “Next” to continue.

• Current time: Shows the correct time on the Hybrid PBX and VoIP Gateway.

• Year, Month, Day, Hours, Minutes, Seconds: Use these fields to define the new system time. By default, these fields are set to

match the time and date on your computer.

• Time Zone: Select the time zone in which the Hybrid PBX and VoIP Gateway is located. When the Hybrid PBX and VoIP

Gateway is connected to the Internet, it automatically retrieves accurate time and date settings (from an ntp server) based on

the Time Zone you enter.
