Chapter 3: Installation
• Authentication Method: If your VoIP provider gave you a username/password, then select Username; otherwise, select IP
address/Domain.
• IP Address/Domain: Specify the IP address of the Hybrid PBX and VoIP Gateway or the name of the domain on which the
Hybrid PBX and VoIP Gateway is located. This address should be assigned to you by your VoIP provider. It is used to establish a
connection with the provider.
• User Name: (Only available if User Name is selected for Authentication Method.) Specify the user name assigned to you by your
provider.
• Password: (Only available if User Name is selected for Authentication Method.) Specify the password assigned to you by your
provider.
STEP 3H: Configure ring groups.
Use this page to create ring groups. A ring group defines an extension number that when dialed, rings one or more users
simultaneously or in succession. A common use for a ring group is to ring all users in a team (like a sales team), for every
incoming call, or to replace an automated attendant in a small office.

• To define a ring group, click Add and see “Adding a ring group” on the next page.
• When done, click “Next.”
Ring Groups
Lists all defined ring groups. The following information is presented for each ring group.
• Extension: Extension number assigned to the ring group.
• Name: Name assigned to the ring group for identification purposes.
