Chapter 3: Installation

STEP 3E: Configure users.

In this step, you configure all users that can make and receive calls through the Hybrid PBX and VoIP Gateway.

• To add a new user, click “Add” and then see “Adding a user” on the next page.

•  To import user definitions from a spreadsheet file, see “Importing user definitions from a spreadsheet” in the Administrator’s 

Guide.

• When done, click “Next” to continue.

Configured User List

This table lists all defined users. The following information is presented for each user.

• Extension: Extension number assigned to the user. Extensions must be three to six digits long.

• Name: Name assigned to the user.

• Type: One of the following extension types:

   - SIP: The extension is connected to a SIP phone.

   - Voicemail Box: The extension is connected to a voicemail box.
