BioTek Instruments, Inc.

Decontamination Procedure for Tubing and Manifold



Two supply bottles are required for this procedure: one for 120 mL

disinfectant, and one for 250 mL of rinse.

After decontaminating the external surfaces:

Connect the washer to the power supply, and turn it on.

Connect the disinfectant fluid supply and empty the waste bottle.

Run

DECONTAMINATION

. (Select

Maintenance

from the Main Menu.)

While the program is running, you will need to periodically check the

display and follow instructions for changing the supply bottles.

Flush all the bleach/disinfectant from the instrument by running

DAY_RINSE

at least once with DI water.
