Hydraulic Troubleshooting
Assuming you have worked through the initial troubleshooting and come to this stage, the first reference point to check is the LED
diagnostics located on the solenoids of the valve block. This may require for covers to be taken off the valve block to show the
electrical side of the block.

CAN Bus Troubleshooting
If a sensor is not responding, can the rest of the sensors further down the line been seen? If so then it’s the 300mm wire from the T-
Piece to the sensor that is at fault or the sensor is at fault. If one of the CAN Bus harnesses has been damaged and is shorting out. The
whole CAN line will be down, so no sensors will be responding on the trailer. A quick fix to find out where the damaged cable is without
going through each harness – is to take off the small Terminator at the end of one of the two CAN lines and place it at the start of the
line to eliminate that CAN line. For an example, take the Terminator off which is located by the Turntable Rotate sensor, and place it
under the ECU at the start of CAN B. If the CAN line responds then the problem is with CAN B, however if the CAN line still doesn’t
respond then the problem is with CAN A line. Keep placing the terminator further down the CAN Line with the issue.
Symptom
Cause
Fix
Functions are Generally Slow
Operating
Insufficient Oil Flow
Increase Tractor RPM
Check oil level in Tank
Standby Pressure Set Too Low
Increase Standby pressure to 20-22
bar
A certain function won’t operate
Hydraulic Pump
The 2” tap by the hydraulic tank may
be closed causing the hydraulic pump
to ‘Cavitate’. This may damage the
Hydraulic pump. Do NOT run the PTO
without sufficient oil flow from the
hydraulic tank.
Burst Hose or Loose fitting
Make sure before pressurising again
that there is no hydraulic oil leaking
from the system
Hydraulic Cylinder
Cylinder seals could have been
damaged and leaking
Cylinder Rod could be damaged
causing a hydraulic leak or stuck in
position
Wiring
Damaged wiring loom
Function will not stop even
Valve Block slice
The spool within the Valve Block Slice
could be stuck open by debris. Stop
PTO and report. Manually operate
that certain slice to unblock any
debris
Valve Block Wiring
Wiring could be damaged causing
power to a valve block function
Hydraulic Cylinder
The cylinder could have been damage
internally causing oil to travel from
one side of the rod to the other. Stop
PTO and report
