Pressurizing the Bump Paddle
The Bump Paddle requires 65
-70
BAR of pressure in its
system. This is maintained by a closed hydraulic circuit.
However if you change any components or a leak is
formed you will have to re-pressurize the system. The
Transtacker will constantly view this pressure and if it
drops below
70
BAR
the box it is contained in will go red
(
Fig. 128
)
warn
ing
you that it needs pressurizing again.
If
the pressure if equal or above 65BAR then the box will go
black as this is at the correct pressure.
This system is controlled by one of the tractor spools.
There should be a 1/2" hose and a 1/4" hose. The 1/4"
hose is the input and the 1/2" is the return from the
pressure relief valve.
Note:
When controlling your tractor spools, ensure that
the flow of this specific spool is around 25%. If the flow is
to high, it will not allow the pressure relief valve to work
correctly and will cause an over pressure within the
system. Make sure the pressure does not go higher then
70
BAR when in constant flow.
1.
To pressurised the system, turn the tap to the open
position which is located at the end of the guide bar
(
Fig.12
7
).
2.
Pressurize the input side of the Bump Paddle. The
pressure relief valve has been set to 65BAR from
factory and should NOT be altered. The pressure of
this system can be viewed on the main screen (
Fig.
128)
Ensure the PTO is on, if its safe to do so).
3.
Once the pressure has hit the 65BAR and maintaining
this pressure, keep the spool on constant flow. Turn
the tap to the closed position. This Bump Paddle will
then be set and ready for use.

Guide Bar Wear Pads
The Guide Bar has X6 adjustable nylons which allow you
to keep the guide bar tight and to take out any 'Slop' that
occurs. These are located on the CTF Crossmember (
Fig.
129
).
When you are adjusting these nylons, when tightening
them you should be able to move the plates on top. If you
can't, then you have overtightened the nylons.
Make sure when adjusting these plates, each M12 nut
should have an even pressure over the plate.
Note
: Ensure you do NOT over tighten these plates as this
can affect the Guide Bar out Pressure transducer and will
cause it to false trigger before the guide bar is all the way
out.
