8.4 LIGHT BARRIER (menu b-4)
Definition: Activation of the photocell evaluation.
Change the setup by activating the desired setting in menu b-4.
„0“ = inactive (no photocell)
„1“ = standard (one-way photocell)
„2“ = two wires (two-wire photocell)
8.5 SAFETY EDGE (menu b-5)
Definition: Activation of the safety edge evaluation.
Change the setup by activating the desired setting in menu b-5.
„0“ = inactive (no safety edge)
„1“ = active (Ohmic safety edge 8.2 kΩ)
8.6 FUNCTION CAUTION LIGHT (menu b-6)
Definition: Selection of the externally attached caution light /
signalling lamp types (see 4.7.1).
8.7 SELECT CAUTION LIGHT (menu b-7)
Definition: Selection of the caution light function to an external
signalling device and/or integral drive light (see 4.7.1).
8.8 RESET PARAMETERS /
FACTORY SETTINGS (menu b-8)
Definition: Reset all individual settings to the basic setting
made at the factory (= parameters with a black background in
the programming manual): individual settings which are execu-
ted after set up are deleted irrevocably.
Reset deletes all saved data in the areas force curve,
travel paths, error messages as well as all individual
connection and function settings! Storage of radio hand
transmitters remains intact.
Trigger by activating menu b-8 to „1“.

8.1 REVERSION (menu b-1)
Definition: If the door meets an obstacle when moving in the di-
rection Close, force cut-off occurs and release from the obstac-
le through moving back (=reversing) in the direction Opening.
Reversing can be selected in the operating mode (see 9.3) im-
pulse operation to „in the end position“ (door fully opened) or
„10 cm“ (door reversed by about 10 cm). Note: In automatic clo-
sing mode reversing always occurs into the end position („Door
Open“).

„1“ = 10 cm
8.2 SOFT START / STOP (menu b-2)
Definition: Length of the phase with which the door drive starts
up or stops at a slow stops (soft start / soft stop).
The soft running phases with 45 or 75 cm can be necessary on
doors with difficult movement cycles or force cycles.
Change the setup by activating the desired setting in menu b-2.
„0“ = 7 cm
„1“ = 15 cm
„2“ = 45 cm
„3“ = 75 cm
8.3 AUTOMATIC CLOSING (menu b-3)
Definition: Operating mode with an automatic closing function
according to an adjustable hold open time. The function is func-
tionally independent of the function ventilation for automatic
closing (1).
Automatic closing may only be used in combination
with additional safety equipment (photocell / contract
safety edge)!
Activate the function in that menu b-3 is set to „1“ (active).
After activation automatic closing is additionally available to
the menu point A hold open time (time up to bis automatic clo-
sing). The hold open time can be setup there (see 7.2).
