11.1 WEAR PARTS
Components of the garage door drive which are subject to me-
chanical wear should be replaced by a professional fitter every
80,000 operating cycles (HWC and HWC web service software
required).
For purely private use or little use (<25 % of the maximum va-
lues for „max. cycles/day“; max. number of parking places, see
Technical Data) we recommend that the components listed
above are replaced once every 10 years.

The garage door drive is maintenance-free except for the drive
chain: Chains should be slightly lubricated once a year using a
suitable agent. Remove excess lubricant immediately. Toothed
belts should never be lubricated. If the device gets dirty clean it
dry, if necessary using a vacuum cleaner.
The checks which should be made at regular intervals to main-
tain operating safety are shown in the chapter Checking.
