5.19 Software update for the control

Follow the order for control panel and control when performing 
the software updates:

1. Perform the software update for the control panel.
2. Perform the software update for the control.

A software update requires a USB key.
When a new software version is available, it can be downloaded at 
www.duerkopp-adler.com and be uploaded from a USB key. It is recom-
mended to use a USB key that is compatible and was purchased from 
Dürkopp Adler. All settings on the machine are retained.

Information

To secure your data, we recommend:

• Saving your program data and creating a backup before performing 

the software update (

p. 160

).

• Use a blank USB key to download the new version.

Proceed in the following order when performing a software update 
for the control:

1. Check the installed software version (

p. 170

).

2. Switch off the control (

p. 171

).

3. Download the new/desired software version from Dürkopp Adler's 

website.

4. Save the new software version to a USB key.
5. Perform the software update (

p. 171

).

5.19.1 Checking the installed software version

To check the installed software version:

1. Press the symbol

 to bring up the navigation pane.

This opens the navigation user interface.

This process requires that the user be logged in as a
