“K2 / K3 / K4“ relay setting

ATTENTION

ATTENTION WHEN SWITCHING PARAMETER K2 WITH K1
When using relay K2 as enable relay (parameter K1), further selected
parameters will not be used because relay K2 is seen as enable relay in this
moment (SIL relevant)

Assign messages to the signal relays K3 and K4

The switching points can be assigned
to the relays K2, K3 and K4 in the
“Extended / Relay“ menu; multiple
selection is possible.

Where messages have a “minus
sign“, this shows that the relay is
activated if the value falls short.

Where messages have a “plus sign“,
this shows the relay is activated if the
value is exceeded.

Procedure:

Connect computer with Ex p control unit

Activate programming switch

Log in to the WEB interface with the user level

Select Extended / Relay menu

In the “of the respective relay“ column, activate the specific message/s
by clicking on the corresponding button.

E.g. click on the “K1“ button. The button alters from   to

Confirm pop-up window with altered value

Deactivate programming switch
