8.2.2 Preset function

area, you can use the
nuLL pOint
Preset function to set the null point for the BML absolute
magnetic encoder system. Any desired values can be set
in the input field.
The Preset function changes some BML parameters. Do
not remove the sensor module during this procedure.
8.2.1 Read function
Clicking on
reaD
starts data retrieval from the sensor
module in real time. The data types which will be read out
are the following:
– Position data
– Real time errors
The position values are displayed in the user interface
numerically and in graph form. In the Rotative (axial)
application type, the position is displayed rotatively over
360° in addition to the incremental display. The real time
errors are displayed with the help of LEDs. The numeric
format (radix) of the position data can be changed to
decimal, hexadecimal, octal or binary by clicking on the
area as marked in the figure.
