7.2.1 Read function
Clicking on reaD starts data retrieval from the sensor
head in real time. The data types which will be read out are
the following:
– Position data
– Real time errors
– Signal quality (only for BiSS communication protocol)
The position values and signal quality are displayed
numerically and graphically on the user interface. The real
time errors are displayed with the help of LEDs. The
numeric format (radix) of the position data can be changed
to decimal, hexadecimal, octal or binary by clicking on the
area as marked in the figure.
