3-4 : Zero span calibration with weight

It is recommended to carry out this calibration during periodic maintenance.

Difference between adjustment and calibration

Adjustment (key sequence [SET], [ENTER]):

This adjustment associates the current input (mm) with output 0%/100%. The

calibration data provided at the time of shipment will not be rewritten.

Zero adjustment may not result in “0 mm” on the SFC display (however, the output

becomes 0%).
Example: Though a liquid level 0% equivalent state has been set, the input remains

“-30 mm” and output remains “-10%”, and so a zero adjustment is necessary.
The input does not change and the LRV is changed to the current input to be output

“0%”.

Calibration (key sequence [CORRECT], [ENTER]):

This adjustment associates the current LRV/URV (mm) set value with the input

angle. The calibration data provided at the time of shipment will be rewritten.
Calibration requires a SFC. Calibration is not possible using the external adjustment

switch. The external adjustment switch is only for adjustments.

Example 1: Though a liquid level 0% equivalent state has been set, the input remains

“-30 mm” and output remains “-10%”, and so a zero calibration is necessary.
The LRV does not change and the calibration LRV angle (SENS_LO) is rewritten to

the current input angle and the input becomes “0 mm” and the output becomes “0%”.
