Operation

Model SLX 110/120 - Smart displacement type level transmitter 2-65

Burnout direction

Burnout takes place when an SFC diagnostic result shows a serious fault or

equivalent.

A selection can be made from the following three types. Burnout direction LRV is set

at the time of shipment.

•

No burnout direction (B/O-NON): Outputs the current output as is.

•

Burnout direction URV (B/O-UP): Forcibly scales out the output beyond the

URV (independent of input value).

•

Burnout direction LRV (B/O-DOWN): Forcibly scales out the output below the

LRV (independent of input value).

Upon recovery from the fault condition, a normal value is output automatically.

With the SLX, it is not possible to confirm the burnout direction using

[SHIFT]+[STAT]. “DOWN SCALE” appears, but this display content has no effect.
To set or confirm the burnout direction, see the following. Data is printed with the set

data is regards to the burnout direction.
