2 Servicing work on timing chain end

Unscrew bolt -arrow- and detach balance weight from bal-
ance shaft.

–

Unscrew bolts -arrows- and detach bearing plate for bal-

ance shaft.

–

Pull balance shaft out of cylinder block.

Installing

Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the follow-

ing:

Crankshaft -1- locked in “TDC” position with locking pin
