Removing and installing parts of
cooling system

♦

The cooling system is under pressure when the engine is

hot. If necessary, relieve pressure before commencing re-

pair work.

♦

Renew gaskets, seals and O-rings.

♦

Secure all hose connections with the correct type of hose

clips (same as original equipment)

Parts catalogue.

♦

The arrow markings on coolant pipes and on ends of hoses

must align.

Hot steam or hot coolant can escape when expansion tank

is opened; cover filler cap with cloth and open carefully.
