1 Removing and installing parts of exhaust system

Remove bolts -1 … 8- and remove exhaust manifold.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the follow-
ing:

Renew gaskets and self-locking nuts.
♦
Hose connections and hoses for charge air system must be
free of oil and grease before assembly.
♦
Secure all hose connections with the correct type of hose
clips (same as original equipment)

Tighten bolts securing intermediate pipe to exhaust mani-
fold as follows:
1. Tighten with torque wrench initially to 10 Nm.
2. Tighten with torque wrench to 30 Nm.
3. Turn 90
°

turn) further using a rigid wrench.

Take electrical connector -arrow- for engine speed sender
-G28- out of bracket and unplug it.
