7.15 closed Water System
7.15.1 Replace Water Routing Toggle

Tools Needed: #2 Phillips head screwdriver, 9/16” Socket or Wrench, Wire Cutters, or Scissors

cAUTiOn: Pressurized Air Supply

1. Turn off air supply to unit.

2. Slowly unscrew bottles to relieve all air pressure in the bottles.

3. Remove existing bottles from bracket.

4. Locate routing toggle on top of Closed Water system bracket

5. Using 9/16” socket or wrench, unscrew the nut holding existing valve in place, then remove valve.

6. Locate Blue waterline tubing on sides of existing valve and clip noting the locations of each tubing

7. Re-attach tubing to new valve in same order as it was removed. The bottom barb should go to #2 bottle head and the

very top barb to the #1 bottle head. The center barb is the output tube that will flow to the dental unit.

8. Place new valve through valve hole and tighten nut.

9. Re-attach water bottles and fill with water and test function.

10. Turn system on and test water flow from bottle #1 and bottle #2 by flipping the valve back and forth while running the

water button on the Air/Water syringe.
