7. Using a flathead screwdriver loosen screw in (location
4) White wire and disconnect wires. (Fig.3)
8. Locate locking bolts attaching the compressor to the
bottom of cart. (Fig.4) Using 7/16” socket, remove
bolts.
NOTE: The third bolt is located in the middle of the
plate and will be difficult to reach, you will need to
lean the compressor to reach in and unscrew.
9. Remove compressor
10. To replace the compressor follow all of the above instructions in reverse order.
7.16.2 Replace Master Air Regulator
Tools Needed: Short Stubby Phillips Screwdriver, Medium Flat Screwdriver, Small Flat Screwdriver
1. To gain access to the
screws holding the air
tank, remove the bowl
and filter from the Master
Regulator. (Fig.1)
2. Using short stubby Phillips
screwdriver, remove
the three screws from
underneath the LEFT air tank. (Fig. 2)
3. Once screws have been removed, firmly grasp the Regulator and pull to the left until it slides
out of the air tanks.(Fig.3)
4. Apply provided silicon grease to each side of
regulator. (Fig. 4)
5. Slide the brass fitting into the Left air tank until it
completely seats
6. Repeat on the right side until it completely seats.
(Fig.5)
7. Hand start all three screws that go into the bottom of the LEFT air tank. Then firmly tighten with short stubby Phillips
Screwdriver.
8. Replace the Amalgam Separator by reversing the instructions for (Remove/Replace Amalgam Separator).
9. To ensure the absence of all air leaks, turn on system and power up the air compressor. Adjust to 75 psi if necessary by
lifting the cap on the Regulator and turning clockwise to increase – counter clockwise to decrease.
