KDC Series II DC Power Supplies

CAUSE

SOLUTION

wires have been reversed and the output
turned on, damage may have occurred to
the sense board. Contact service if the unit
no longer functions with proper sense
connections restored.

Error 23-25: AC Line input not within
operating range.

Check for missing phase, high line or low
line conditions.

8.2.7

Can’t Program on GPIB or RS232

If the power supply does not respond to RS232C or GPIB programming, the following items may
be at fault:

CAUSE

SOLUTION

The power supply unit address is incorrect. Update address. See section 0.
GPIB or RS232 cable is loose at power
supply rear panel.

Check connection, tighten jackscrews.

RS232 has failed.

Replace or repair the Controller.

GPIB Assembly has failed.

Replace the GPIB Assembly.
