Adding or Clearing VCR Timers
Canceling PPV Purchases and VCR Timers
This procedure is for canceling a purchase and (if you have set one) a VCR timer. Once you
have canceled the purchase, it disappears from the Purchase and Timers lists.
Note: Some purchases cannot be canceled. If this is the case, you will not be permitted to
complete this procedure. Passport DCT notifies you that the purchase cannot be
canceled.
Instead of canceling a timer, you may elect to suspend a timer (basically put it on hold) and this
gives you the opportunity to resume it at a later time. If you elect that option, refer to
Suspending Future PPV Programs on page 58.
To cancel purchases for a future PPV program from the program guide
1 Press the GUIDE button.
2 Select a program to add or clear VCR timer.
3 Press the SELECT button.
4 Highlight either “Add” or “Clear” VCR Timer, then press A.
5 The program guide shows the program in yellow with the selected timer symbol
inside the grid with the program name. Press the EXIT button to exit the program
guide and return to the currently selected channel.
1 Press the GUIDE button. The program guide displays.
2 Press the arrow buttons to highlight the purchased program you want to cancel. The
program displays in the program guide, highlighted in yellow with a timer symbol.
