Selecting Passport DCT Settings
Turning the Settop Clock Illumination On or Off
With the Illumination option in the Settop Clock preference, you can set up the clock so that it
turns on and off when you turn the set-top box on or off. That way, when you want the clock
to turn off, you can simply press the set-top box’s power button to turn the set-top box and the
clock off.
To turn the set-top box clock illumination on or off
5 Press the right arrow button to move to the Setting column. The currently selected setting
has a bullet in front of it.
6 Press the up or down arrow button to highlight one of the three clock options.
7 Press the SELECT button to accept the setting. The option you selected now has a bullet
in front of it.
8 Press the left arrow button and your new selection displays in the Settings column.
9 To exit the Settings menu, press the EXIT button.
This clock display option Does the following
Always On Clock always displays
On/Off With Settop Clock displays only when the set-top box is on
1 Press the MENU button until the Settings menu displays.
2 Press the up or down arrow button to highlight
the Settop Clock preference.
