Unlocking a Time Period
This procedure is intended to change the preference options. If you wish to temporarily unlock
the time period, you can do so by simply turning off parental control, which permits you to
access all blocked areas.
6 Press the right arrow button to see the Start
time. You see a display similar to the one
shown.
7 To lock an entire 24-hour period, highlight the Lock All option. Press the SELECT
button. “All hours are set” displays. Go to step 13.
8 To set the start time, press the up or down arrow button to highlight the hour and minutes
when you want the locked time period to begin.
9 Press the SELECT button to set the start time. You now see the End column.
10 Press the up or down arrow button to highlight the hour and minutes when you want the
locked time period to end.
11 Press the SELECT button to set the end time. The option column displays.
12 From the option display, you may select to do one of the following:
• To continue configuring the parental control options, use the up and down arrow
buttons to select the next option you wish to set.
• To continue configuring other Settings, press the left arrow button once to return to
the preference display and select the next preference you wish to set.
• To exit the Settings menu, press the EXIT button.
13 To block programming during the selected time, you must turn locking on; refer to
page 134.
