Getting Started With Basic Procedures

To browse the QuickInfo™ banner for program information

2 Use the arrow buttons (shown in the table

above) to browse the banner. You will note
that while you are browsing, an additional
bar displays above the banner showing the
currently selected program and channel.

3 Do one of the following:

• To view a channel shown in the channel banner (if it is different from the currently

selected channel), press the SELECT button. The set-top box now changes channels
and displays the channel you selected.

• To continue viewing the currently selected channel (and not change

channels/programs), you can do one of the following:

wait a few seconds and the channel banner will hide.

press the EXIT button.

press the INFO button until the channel banner disappears (twice).

Note: At any time during a browse, you can elect to change channels by using the number

keypad to enter the desired channel number and then press the SELECT button.
