DAVINO 120TW - USER AND MAINTENANCE MANUAL Rev.04
- Pag. 28
Once the rollover is completed
Make sure the machine is in a stable position and there is no risk of further rotation, loosening the seat belt,
abandoning the driving position quickly and trying to get out of the way to avoid being crushed by the
machine if it is to roll over.
SCOPE OF A PNEUMATIC
If tires or rims are not used properly, there is a risk that the tires will explode or be damaged.
Maintenance, dismantling, repairs and mounting of tires and rims require special equipment and
technology, so always contact an athorized CENTER/PERSONAL for performing these operations.
Check the wheel hardware before starting work. If necessary, tighten the screws. Always check that the
tire inflating pressure is the same as that prescribed by the manufacturer and check the good condition of
the tire.
If the pressure is too low, the tires may overheat and burst. Even in the case of too high pressure there is
a risk that the tires will burst.
Check the tire pressure when it is still cold. Do not discharge the pressure when the pressure ina hot tire in
increased.
Take a safety distance or in any case side by side with the tire when inflating. Keep the work area
unmounted by pointed or sharp objects that may damage the tire.
Deflate the tires before removing any foreign bodies stuck in the tread.
Never use revised rims as welds or heat treatments that are not properly performed may weaken the rim.
Do not cuts or welds on the wheels with mounted and inflated tires.
Never inflated tires with gases other than compressed air.
The tire pressure values and the speed allowed in this manual correspond to the values provided by the
manufactuer.
For details, refer to the
AMOG
or tire manufactuer.
DANGER OF ELECTRICAL NATURE
Any type of intervention on the electrical system or the battery must be carried out by competent personnel.
Before working on the electrical system, disconnect the battery using the “battery disconnect switch”. Make
sure that the cables and terminals of the lectrical connectionsa re free from corrosion cracks or burns; if
not, contact the zone dealer
AMOG
immediately.
In the event of electrical failure, do not attempt to start the machine while releasing it along a slope.
SHORT CIRCUIT DANGER
Do not start the engine in any case by shorting the starter motor terminal or the battery.
BATTERY
The battery electrolyte contains sulfuric acid and the batteries generate flammable hydrogen gas that could
explode. Improper use can cause serious injury or fire.
Do not use or charge the battery if the electrolyte level is below the minimum line level. Always check the
battery electrolyte level at regular intervals and add distilled water to bring it to the highest level line.
To work with batteris, ALWAYS wear protective goggles and rubber gloves.
Do no smoke or use free flames near the battery.
If garments or skin come into contact with acid, rinse, immediately with plenty of water. If the acid comes
into contact with the eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and consult a physician.
The battery never tilts more than 45° in any direction. It could splill the acid of the battery.
Do not connect a low battery with a charger in series. Risk of explosion!
