2.7 Machine operation and use
ROPS lowering
Climb on the driver’s stand.
Remove the split pins.
Remove the inner clevis pins on the top right and top left of the
ROPS. Use the ROPS key to loosen the clevis pins.
Slightly tilt off the ROPS.
Be careful not to cross the centre of gravity. Falling ROPS
may result in injury.
Install the clevis pins back on the top of the frame. Use the ROPS
key to tighten the clevis pins.
Hang the key on the upper part of the ROPS and turn the clevis
pins to the correct position.
Use the ROPS key to slowly lower the frame.
Remove the key.
Do not remove the key until the ROPS is safely lowered.
Insert the split pins into the clevis pins.
Do not use the ROPS key if there is a FOPS roof installed
on the machine.
The frame may fall during lifting or lowering and cause
injury.
During machine operation, both sides of the frame must
be secured with clevis pins and split pins.
