ESCRIPTION
This command is used in the Router Configuration mode. This command forces
the autonomous system boundary router to distribute a default route into the
OSPF routing domain.

Parameter Description
always
Always advertises the default route regardless of whether
the software has a default route.
0-16777214
Metric used for generating the default route. If you do not
specify a value using the default-metric router configuration
command, the default metric value is 10. The value used is
specific to the protocol.

External link type associated with the default route
advertised into the OSPF routing domain. It can be one of
the following values:
1—Type 1 external route
2—Type 2 external route
The default is type 2 external route.
< route-map name>
Routing process will generate the default route if the route
map is satisfied.
