Introduction

E1852B Operating Guide

Introduction

The E1852B Bluetooth Test Set can be controlled by the supplied PC

user interface or by use of the SCPI compliant remote command set.

The PC interface is intended for easy use in development and service

situations. The interface requires only a small amount of desktop space

by using tab dividers to partition each major system mode. The

program supports installation in Windows 95/98/2000 and Windows

NT. Please refer to installation guide for further information.

Installation

If you have not already done so, install the PC interface and connect

your PC by following the procedure detailed in “Install the User

Interface” in the E1852B Bluetooth Test Set

Installation Guide

N O T E

For optimum measurement speed, especially when viewing graphical

results windows, you should use the parallel interface connection.

Starting the User Interface

You can start the user interface by double-clicking the desktop icon:

or by selecting E1852B
