Making Measurements

E1852B Operating Guide

Frequency Offset Measurement (ICFT)

Normal and Test

Modes

This measurement is carried out by identifying the preamble part of a

BS55 packet. The preamble is sampled and the average value gives the

Frequency Offset value.

The Frequency Offset value can be read out by using the SCPI

command:

READ:FREQ:OFFS?

N O T E

On some types of devices results can vary significantly between

consecutive measurements.
