To isolate an RF analyzer problem: 

1. On the Test Set: 

a. Press 

Preset

b. Press the 

Inst Config

 to access the INSTRUMENT CONFIGURE 

screen.

• Set  the

c. Press the 

RF Anl

 key (to go to the analog RF ANALYZER screen). 

• Set  the

to 

100 MHz

• Set  the 

Input Port

2. On the external RF signal generator: 

a. Set the frequency to 100 MHz CW. 

b. Set the amplitude to 0 dBm. 

c. Connect the output to the Test Set’s RF IN/OUT connector.
