Reinstallation

Unpack the new mass filter heater assembly (

Figure 14

). The heater, 

temperature sensor, and heater block are already assembled.

Install the heater assembly on top of the mass filter radiator using the two 
screws. See 

Figure 14

 for replacing the front mass filter heater/sensor. The 

rear mass filter heater sensor is similar.

3

Connect the heater and temperature sensor wires to the feedthrough 
board.

4

Close the analyzer chamber. 

5

Pump down the MS. See the
