Common Commands

Purpose

Use the do

command to execute any Total Access 238 command, regardless of the active

configuration mode.

Syntax Description

The do command has no subcommands.

Default Values

The do command has no default values.

Command Modes

The do command works in any command mode.

Usage Examples

The do command provides a way to execute commands in other command sets without taking
the time to exit the current command set and enter the desired one. The following example
shows the do

command used to logout of the session while currently in the Global

Configuration command set:

TA238(config)#do logout

A new session is now available. Press

NTER

to log in.
