Global Configuration Mode Command Set

61200630L1-35C

interface ethernet <port>

Purpose

Use the interface ethernet <port> command to activate the Interface Configuration Mode for
the listed physical interface.

Syntax Description

The port subcommand specifies an interface based on the physical location. The Total Access
238 provides two Ethernet interfaces on the front panel, which are identified as ethernet 0 and
ethernet 1.

Default Values

The interface ethernet command has no default values.

Command Modes

The Global Configuration Mode is required for this command.

Usage Examples

Enter the Ethernet interface command set for the Ethernet 1 interface.

TA238(config)#interface ethernet 1
