Global Configuration Mode Command Set

Purpose

Use the clock command to set the date and time on the system clock.

Syntax Description

Table 13

displays the syntax descriptions for the clock command.

Default Values

The clock command has no default values.

Command Modes

The Global Configuration Mode is required for this command.

Usage Examples

Set the time to 15:30:00.

TA238(config)#clock time 15:30:00

Set the date to 07/20/05.

TA238(config)#clock date 07/20/05
