Purpose

Use the port <option> command to set the system Telnet port.

Syntax Description

Table 32

displays the syntax descriptions for the port <option> command.

Default Values

The port option is set to 23.

Command Modes

The Line (Telnet) Interface Configuration Mode is required for this command.

Usage Examples

Set the Telnet port to 1030.
