Purpose

Use the configure

command to enter the Global Configuration Mode. Refer to

“Global

Configuration Mode Command Set”

on page 30 for more information.

Syntax Description

The configure command has no subcommands.

Default Values

The configure command has no default values.

Command Modes

The Enable Mode Command prompt is required for this command.

Usage Examples

Enter the Global Configuration Mode using the following command:

TA238#config

The following response is displayed:

TA238(config)#

The prompt changes as verification that the Global Configuration commands are now
available.
