erase startup-config
Purpose
Use the erase startup-config command to erase the specified file.
Syntax Description
The startup-config subcommand erases the startup configuration file stored in NVRAM.
Default Values
The erase startup-config command has no default values.
Command Modes
The Enable Mode Command prompt is required for this command.
Usage Examples
Erase the startup configuration file stored in NVRAM.
TA238#erase startup-config
If a new startup-configuration file is not specified before power-cycling the unit, the Total
Access 238 will initialize using a default configuration.
