6-2. Replacement method for driven bearing, small-rotating cutters & large-rotating cutters

Remove the feeding hopper.
1-1 Remove the feeding hopper.
Tighten up the lock-knob and catch-clips of the feed hopper to
ensure that the hopper won
’ t tumble down even if the hopper
hinge (support point) is removed.
Loosen and remove the (3) M8
×
L20 hexagon screws which are
fixed at the feeding hopper hinge (support point) on the driven
side and remove the feeding hopper.
Keep the hopper which has been taken off from the granulator
in a safe place.
DANGER
If you remove the hinge (support point) and loosen the catch-
clips and lock-knob, the hopper becomes unstable. So be
careful and ensure that the hopper won
’
t fall down before you
prepare to lift it off. If it accidentally falls off, a bone fracture
may occur. Additionally, since the feed hopper is heavy, we
suggest that at least two people perform this hopper removal
process.

Remove the fixed cutters,
bed crashing cutter and
scraper. Please follow Chapter 7. Section 6-1, Step 2. to take the cutters
apart.
