Removal of the casing plate
on the driven side.
Removal of bearings.
Pay attention not to let the
double-raw bearing and the
inserted inner ring spacer
drop / fall off.
3-1 Remove the driven side casing plate:
Insert the revolving handle into the manual-revolving hole,
by hand. To ensure the shaft stops rotating, rotate it until it
contacts the casing, then using a hexagon wrench, loosen the
bolts and take off the casing plate.
The fastening bolt for the casing plate is: M8 X 20L, 4 pcs.
3-2 Remove the bearing:
Take out the casing plate by slightly knocking it with a wooden
or rubber mallet. Then take the double-seal bearings and casing
plate B apart from the shaft.
Note: This bearing unit is composed of 2 double-seal bearings
and an inserted inner ring spacer. This device promises the
most proper axial clearance for each completed granulator.
When exchange is required, please order the 3-piece unit, 2
bearings and 1 inserted inner ring spacer from the factory and
exchange them as a whole set.
Otherwise, if the axial clearance is too large ,the gap between
cutters can be promised. Or the axial clearance becomes
nullified, and the life-span of the bearing unit will be severely
reduced.
When using a crane etc., please follow the safety precautions
in Chapter 1, section 2.

Replace the driven side
bearing and rotating cutters. 4-1 Remove the rotating cutters:
Open the upper chamber. Following the order below, take them
out. Start from the opposite side of the motor.
Pay close attention of their orientation on the shaft before
disassembly, since each cutter is staggered a particular way.
