Assembly and adjusting
method of clearance-gap for
fixed cutters, scrapers and
bed crashing cutter.
3-1 Prepare following shim gauge for the clearance gap
adjustment.
1) Shim gauge for the fixed cutter is 3 pieces in
thickness: 0.2mm
×
width: 4mm
×
length: 40mm.
2) Shim gauge for the scraper is 3 pieces in
thickness: 0.3 - 0.4mm
×
width: 4 mm
×
length: 40mm.
3-2 Clearance gap between cutters
1) The clearance gap between rotating cutter and fixed cutter is 0.2-
0.25 mm as factory standard.
2) The clearance gap between the rotating cutter and the scraper is
0.4-0.5 mm as factory standard.
3-3 Setting points for the bed crashing cutter
Install it when the cutting chamber is closed.
Fit the bed crashing cutter into the cutting chamber from top.
Both ends of the long edge have the same clearance to the
chamber inner wall. Also, the bottom side of the bed crashing
cutter has to seat on the chamber without any gap.
Then use (3) M10 X 25L inner-hex bolts to fix it temporarily.
Finally, tighten it up absolutely with torque wrench to torque
35[Nm].
If there’s any small clearance gap between the chamber and the
bottom of bed crashing cutter, the standard clearance 0.2-0.25
mm for the tip of fixed cutter won’t be kept. So, you must fit the
bed crashing cutter perfectly into the chamber .
