Cleaning and checking
inside of the cutting
chamber
9. Insert the manual rotary handle (provided) into the following holes:
※ Special holes for manual rotation are located on the side of big rotary cutters.
Face the scraper sides to turn counter-clockwise slowly, check the cutter edges, check for
smooth rotation.
If the rotary cutters are not turning smoothly, or if the cutters rub, it will emit an abnormal
sound. If this happens, please adjust the cutter clearance of the fixed cutters, fixed
crushing cutters, and the scraper.
(About the clearance adjustment, please refer to Chapter 7. 6-1-Section.)
10. Please use an air cleaning nozzle to remove remaining dust at the lower area of the
granulator, grooves, (and as in step 1, if needed, use the air cleaning fittings on the bearing
areas of dust-wipers on both the left and right side).
11. When complete, close the drawer, refasten lower knobs, close the hopper and re-
fasten the knob and (2) clips.
12. Then, finally clean the take-away box as well.

When opening / closing the feeding hopper:
When opening and closing a feeding hopper, please make sure to lock up the wheels
to avoid movement.
Do not put your hands into the open hopper, or lean on it.
While opening the hopper, do not put your hands into the hopper, stopper, or hinge
area.
While closing, lift the feeding hopper slowly, and don't put a hand and a finger onto
the clamp-area carelessly- that will cause laceration or fractures.

When opening / closing the granulator chamber drawer:
When closing, always lock up the knobs to avoid movement.
Please do not put your hands into an open hopper, or lean on it.
When opening the hopper, please do not put your hands into the hopper, stopper or
hinge area.
When closing the hopper, lift the hopper slowly, do not put your hands, fingers onto
gaps at will. Use two people if needed, as it’s heavy.
Your hands will get laceration or fractures if they get pinched.
◎ When opening and closing the lower chamber drawer:
Make sure to lock the 2 casters to avoid movement.
Hold the handle and open it slowly, do not put hands into fulcrum on the drawer.
Do not put your hands and fingers into drawer's inner area.
Your hands or fingers will get lacerations and fractures when pinched.
◎ Please do not touch the cutters at will, because they are very sharp.
Please wear a dust mask or proper PPE, while using an air cleaning nozzle during
cleaning, because powder and pellets may scatter.
WARNING
Cleaning with an Air Blow Cleaning nozzle must be carried out using a shatter-
proof safety glasses, mask, and proper PPE, since dust scatters in the air.
