Chapter 8 Trouble-shooting & Remedies

S10 Screenless Granulator 882.12058.00

Many burrs occur on the granulated products,

or the material bridges in the loading process.

Check point

Remedy

Precaution

Some PP, PE materials and soft
materials may not be suitable for
this low-speed granulator,
depending on their grade.

Check whether materials are
bridged at the take-away box, or
whether there is a problem in the
conveying line.

If there is a problem, use a
middle-speed or high-speed
granulator.

If the problem is only bridging at the lower
take-away box, an optional bridge breaker
is available. Please contact our Service
division.

Nylon material containing glass
may bridge at the take-away box,
depending on its grade.

Check if material bridges at the
take-away box and if unloading it
is an issue. Then consider if the
material is suitable for the
grinder, or not.

If the problem is only bridging at the lower
take-away box, an optional bridge breaker
is available. Please contact our Service
division.
