6.7 Lock or unlock the basal rate programming

and profile selection

In the standard configuration of your Accu-Chek D-TRONplus insulin pump you can
program your basal rates and select your basal rate profile*. These functions can be
locked if desired. When these functions are locked, the basal rates and basal rate pro-
file can not be changed.

To lock or unlock the basal rate programming and profile selection

1. Make sure your insulin pump is in

RUN

and the KeyLock is

deactivated or the keys are unlocked.

* This parameter may vary based on the standard configuration of your insulin pump

and changes made using the Accu-Chek DiaLog Pump Programming tool.

Info:

The volume of the

STOP

-Warning is independent of the pro-

grammed beep volume. It always occurs at the maximum level.

6.6 Adjust the bolus increment

The bolus increment for the standard bolus function is set to 0.5 units* per key press
in the standard configuration. This bolus increment can be adjusted in the SETUP
menu or with the Accu-Chek DiaLog Pump Programming tool to 0.1, 0.2, 0.5 or 1.0
units.

To adjust the bolus increment

1. Make sure your Accu-Chek D-TRONplus insulin pump is in

RUN

and the KeyLock is deactivated or the keys are unlocked

and the function is not locked using the Accu-Chek DiaLog
Pump Programming tool.

2. Press

d

9 times to select the SETUP menu.

3. Confirm with

f

.

4. Press

d

3 times to move to the bolus increment function.
