7.1 Overview of the alerts
Alerts and errors
Alerts (warning instructions) and errors (error messages) are shown on the display
and are signalled first by vibrations followed by a combination of vibrations and a
sequence of three then two short beeps.
Vibration:
~

~
etc.
Beep:

... ..
etc.
Info:
For your safety, your insulin pump always beeps at the maximum
level for alerts and errors as well as the
STOP
-Warning even when the beep
volume has been turned off.
Every time your insulin pump signals an alert or error, there are two steps which must
be carried out to clear the alarm.
1. Silence the beeps and vibrations by pressing
f
. The alert or error code remains on
the display.
2. Confirm that you have seen and understood the alert or error code by pressing
f
again. Take the appropriate action if necessary. Once you have confirmed the alert
or error, the alarm information is cleared from the display and remains only in the
history of alerts and errors and in the event memory.
If more than one alert and/or error occur at the same time, press
f
once to silence
the first alert or error on the display. After silencing the first alert or error that ap-
pears, the corresponding information is cleared and the next alert or error is displayed
and signalled by vibrations and beeps. Press once again
f
to silence the next alert
or error. Only the final alert and/or error must be both silenced and confirmed by
pressing
f
twice.
