During bolus delivery:
If the bolus delivery has begun, it can be cancelled at any time
by pressing
s
or
a
for 3 seconds after which your insulin pump
beeps* a melody and an “Alert A8: Bolus Cancelled” occurs.
Silence and confirm the alert by pressing
f
twice.
Please refer to section 7.1.8 “Alert A8: Bolus Cancelled” for fur-
ther information.
The bolus amount delivered before the cancellation can be reviewed in the bolus
history.
Please refer to section 6.1.1 “Review the bolus history” for further information.
5.2.2 Scroll bolus
The scroll bolus function allows you to program the bolus amount in increments of
0.1 units. Scrolling means that when you hold the
a
or
s
key pressed, the bolus
amount is continuously increased or decreased until you release the key.
Info:
The bolus amount programmed is not confirmed with beeps or
vibrations when using the scroll bolus. Bolus delivery starts immediately
after confirmation of the programmed amount.
To program a scroll bolus
1. Make sure your insulin pump is in
RUN
and the KeyLock is
deactivated or the keys are unlocked.
* Beeps occur only if they have not been turned off.
5. 5 seconds after the confirmation, your insulin pump beeps**
three times and starts to deliver the total bolus amount pro-
grammed.
To cancel a standard bolus
During programming:
Press
s
or
a
(depending on the starting key, the opposite key
must be used) to reset the bolus amount to 0.0 units.
Your insulin pump beeps** a melody and gives off a long vibra-
tion.
If no new bolus is programmed, your insulin pump automatical-
ly returns to
RUN
after 5 seconds.
No bolus is delivered!
During or after confirmation:
Press
s
or
a
to interrupt the confirmation.
Your insulin pump immediately returns to
RUN
.
An “Alert A8: Bolus Cancelled” occurs.
Silence and confirm the alert by pressing
f
twice.

No bolus is delivered!
** If the beeps have been turned off, your insulin pump only vibrates for confirmation.
