6.2 TRIOS MOVE+ Touch Screen:
Cleaning and Disinfection
Clean and disinfect the TRIOS MOVE+ touch screen after each patient treatment. Follow the
instructions below (step 1-2).
1.
Clean the TRIOS MOVE+ touch screen
Unplug the cart from electricity
to ensure electrical safety.
Put on gloves.
Take a CaviWipe.
Wipe the surface of the touch screen
with the CaviWipe until visibly clean.
Dispose of the CaviWipe.
Repeat until all visual contamination
is removed.

Disinfect the TRIOS MOVE+ touch screen
Take a CaviWipe.
180 s
Wet the surface of the touch screen
by continuously wipeing the touch
screen for a minimum of
180 seconds
.
The touch screen needs to stay
wet for 180 seconds in order to
disinfect it.
Dispose of the CaviWipe.
In case of smudges or stains on the touch screen, polish the screen with a dry non-woven
swab to remove any residue from the screen.
WARNING
Do not spray directly onto any parts of the
TRIOS MOVE+, as the liquid solution can accumulate
at the seals and leak into the monitor and computer.
CAUTION
Never submerge the TRIOS MOVE+ screen into any cleaning or disinfection
solution.
7. Disposal
Electronic waste must not be treated as unsorted municipal waste, but must
be collected separately! Please contact support ([email protected]) who
can inform you about the local requirements for disposal of electronical,
clinical waste. By disposing of the device in the proper manner, you help
to avoid possible hazards for the environment and public health that could
otherwise be caused by improper treatment of waste equipment.

8. Technical Maintenance
CAUTION
All technical service and repair of the TRIOS MOVE+ must be performed
by 3Shape or 3Shape-authorized personnel only.
No regular maintenance is needed other than cleaning and disinfecting. Preventive and
scheduled maintenance are not required.

The mains power cable must be disconnected before you change the fuses.

Only fuses with the correct rating and type (250 V, T 3.15 A H) must be used.

10. Vigilance
In case of any serious incident that has occurred in relation to the use of the device, please
report the incident to 3Shape at email: [email protected] and please report it to
the competent authority of the state in which the user and/or patient is established.
