6.18.5 Finger guards

Finger guards which cover the gap between the working area and the guide roller and thus prevent the

pulling in of body parts and clothing are located on both sides of the guide rollers on all conveyor belts.
Adjustable guide rollers have finger guards with slots. These slots can be used to precisely adjust the

finger guards if the guide rollers are adjusted for tensioning the conveyor belt.
