6.16 Resetting 12.5/14.0 kW vacuum pump motor protection relay

The motor protection relay cuts the 12.5/14.0 kW power supply to the vacuum pump under the

following circumstances:
• Overload

• Short-circuit

• Phase failure

• Current asymmetry

• Overheating

Note:

Repeatedly triggering the motor protection relay may damage the vacuum pump!
Contact customer service.

1 Switch box
2 Main switch

A  

Check visible connectors of cables from vacuum box switch box for damage. (The vacuum pump

has its own power connection.)

B  

If the vacuum pump is overheated, let it cool down first.

C  

At the vacuum pump control box, set the main switch to OFF and then to ON. (See Vacuum Pump

Operating Manual, section "Additional Descriptions")

D  

Check the function of the vacuum pump: switch on the vacuum on the cutter (Shift + 

).
