Tips for cutting
147
• Enter the calculated value
Y
in the field
1-1-1-4-3 Correct Y
• Perform a test cut and recalculate the correction value, if necessary.
• The Y-correction is complete when the cuts are on the same line (tolerance: ± 0.1 mm). Where
necessary, check this using a magnifying glass.
X-correction — correcting contour error caused by displaced blade
During the X correction, the cuts are moved until each penetration point is exactly in the center.
• Start the
1-1-1-4-5 Test cut
function
• Measure distance b (mm/in) (penetration point line 1 to penetration point line 2) of the opposite cuts
and calculate as follows:
Option 1: The distance between the
penetration points is greater than the
distance between the ends of the
cuts
X = existing X correction value -
b/2
Option 2: The distance between the
penetration points is smaller than the
distance between the ends of the
cuts
X = existing X correction value +
b/2
Result: The penetration points are
precisely in the center.
• Enter the calculated value
X
in the field
1-1-1-4-2 Correct X
• Perform a test cut and recalculate the correction value, if necessary.
• The X-correction is complete as soon as each penetration point is precisely in the center
(tolerance: ± 0.1 mm). Where necessary, check this using a magnifying glass.
