The attachment lamp VIS-LED is only intended for
use with transmitted light.
CAUTION
Avoid looking directly into the LED
light.
CAUTION
Always make sure that the instrument
is switched off when mounting the
attachment lamp VIS-LED onto the
transmitted-light port or dismounting
it from the transmitted-light port.
•
Loosen the locking screw (3-42/
1
) on the transmitted-light port (3-42/
2
) and remove the halogen
lamp.
•
Insert the add-on illuminator (3-42/
3
) with the dovetail ring into the port (3-42/

). Use ball-headed
screwdriver SW 3 and the locking screw (3-42/

•
Connect the three-pin illuminator plug (3-42/

for transmitted light (
TL

•
For the coded stand, set the transmitted-light/reflected-light toggle switch to the position for
transmitted light (
TL
). When it comes to the motorized stand, switching between reflected light and
transmitted light is done via the TFT display touch screen.
If the AxioCam MRm is used for documentation purposes, the 12-percent gray filter provided
must be employed to attenuate light intensity.
The add-on illuminator is equipped with a BNC port (3-35/
